Welcome to the storied timeline of Alpasión, where our passion for winemaking and dedication to exceptional hospitality have been beautifully intertwined since 2009. Nestled in the renowned Valle de Uco in Mendoza, Argentina, our vineyard serves as a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation. Here, we share the milestones that have shaped our journey and continue to inspire our future endeavors.
Construction of the lodge began in November of the same year, marking the first physical footprint of our vision.
By 2012, Alpasion celebrated several key milestones: the lodge welcomed its first guests in March, and by June, our inaugural wine, Alpasión Malbec 2011, hit the market. The following year, we launched the Alpasión Private Selection and obtained a crucial permit for drilling a new well, setting the stage for extensive vineyard development.
Our successful harvests and organic certification further demonstrate our commitment to both excellence and the environment.
As we’ve grown, we’ve also expanded beyond wine, launching ventures like Alpasión Cigars and our ‘WhatAboutMe?’ brand, each reflecting our innovative spirit. We have also broadened our product lines to include Alpasión Gin and Don Bill Grappa, further diversifying our offerings while maintaining our focus on quality and creativity.
The addition of our restaurant and the initial phase of our winery have significantly enhanced the allure of our estate, offering guests a truly immersive experience.
Beyond our products, we’ve enriched the guest experience with unique glamping tents and agroturismo (agrotourism) apartments, allowing visitors to fully embrace the beauty and tranquility of our surroundings.
Looking ahead, we are excited that we will soon be opening our new La Huella tasting room, an intimate space designed for guests to appreciate our award-winning wines while soaking in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding landscape. This addition reaffirms our dedication to providing innovation and quality in every aspect of our venture.
